When I'm doing my "Crystal magician"-shows, one is in danger of losing one's trust in the laws of gravity. I let one or two crystal balls roll over my hands and arms, creating almost hypnotic rolling motions. It's called 'contact juggling': The ball keeps on rolling and rolling without being held or falling down... An effect that is quite magical and fascinating.
Many viewers believe that some kind of trick like magnetism or tiny strings has to be involved here, but not so: The balls are hindered from falling down only through dexterity (which takes years of training, of course). Neither do the gloves I sometimes wear have any effect except for being an optical variation (and keeping my fingers warm in winter, of course).
You can book my crystal magic show (just like my fire show and chemical lightshow linked above), for example as a 'magical' accent for a party or as a special effect for another event. In the past I have showed my crystal magic in places like the opening of the crystal exhibition "Glass of four millennia. Collection Ernesto Wolf" of the Württembergisches Landesmuseum in the old Stuttgart castle and at the Medieval-Rocknight in the Rockfabrik Ludwigsburg, or as a street artist on the Königsstraße in Stuttgart or the Marienplatz in Munich.
Whether I am free on a certain date or already booked can be viewed on my fireshow page ().
You can view a Flash video of my crystal show here:

The video is a part of a TV short film on my artistic works. You can find the film "Ruven Nagel - Der Kristallmagier" (running time approx. 10 minutes) on Youtube.com: .
And here some impressions from Hohenzollern castle:
On photos, the effect of this 'crystal magic' can be captured only very insufficiently. Too much of its effect comes from the motion and patterns. But to get at least a glimpse of what the show is about, click on one of the pictures below.
